【摘要】 元话语在话语的表达与理解中发挥着重要的作用。为了探究元话语的功能,本文利用关联性理论对元话语的推理制约性加以分析。研究结果表明,元话语对听话者的语境推理具有制约作用。元话语通过向听话者提示话题信息,限制了听话者的语境假设选择,制约了语境推理,引导了听话者的话语理解。由元话语构建的语境假设在某个语境中的推理制约性越强,其语境效果越显著,听话者为话语解读所付出推理努力就越小,元话语与语境的关联性就越大。更多还原

【Abstract】 Metalanguage plays an important role in terms of language expression and comprehension. Therefore, in order to explore the function of metalanguage, this paper analyses its inference and constraint on the basis of Relevance Theory. Results show that metalanguage plays a constraining role for listeners in contextual inference. In other words, by providing listeners with topic messages, metalanguage limits their contextual assumption choices, constrains language contextual inference and guides their understanding. What is more, the stronger the inference and constraint of the contextual assumption represented by metalanguage, the more remarkable the contextual effect, the less the processing effort required of listeners to understand the language, and the stronger the correlation between meta language and its context will be.更多还原
