【Abstract】 The United States Department of Agriculture(USDA) published draft budget for Fiscal Year(FY) 2017,whose purpose is to ensure the fundamental position of agriculture and food security through investment,and to guide the agricultural scientific research,education and promotion programs to solve major problems facing the challenge.It emphasizes research that will tackle major,crosscutting issues facing farmers,including antimicrobial resistance,food security,climate change,use of water resources,sustainable bioenergy,avian influenza,and foreign animal diseases,etc.This paper understands the development direction of agricultural scientific research by analyzing USDA’s budget funds for FY 2017.The key research direction is worthy of attention for related management department in China.更多还原
