【Abstract】 Metacognitive strategy is a skill of the independent learning that learners get through self- management and self- guidance. Reading consciousness for English majors using metacognitive strategies is not strong. Students ’ reading effect is poor. If students use metacognitive strategy,reading tasks can be guaranteed to be completed smoothly and the quality and efficiency of reading can be improved.
