【Abstract】 Exploring the black box of audience studies is one of key solutions to the problems presented in telling the China story well to western audiences.In this interview,Shuyun Sun,BBC documentary producer and director,based on her long working experience in the UK and her deep understanding of both English and Chinese documentaries,shared with us her insight into how to tell the China story well from the perspective of the western audiences’mindsets and viewing habits.Her analysis includes how to define a good story,how the BBC captures good stories,how to tell a good China story,why China has failed to do so,and what is the best form of cooperation with foreign countries in the present international communication context for telling the China story.更多还原
