【Abstract】 In view of the relatively weak position of periodical network transmissibility evaluation research, the paper putsforward the idea of applying P index to evaluate it. Firstly, it illustrates the necessity and feasibility of evaluating periodicalnetwork transmissibility by p index, and then examines its effectiveness empirically by selecting core journals of informa-tion & library science in CNKI as the data source and research objects.
