【摘要】 本文从语言哲学出发,通过蒯因的翻译不确定性论题看翻译的客观性与不确定性,批判传统及解构主义翻译观过度强调其中之一,据此提出一种以翻译意义为依据、既具有客观性又能容纳不确定性的新翻译观。首先,理清翻译的客观性与不确定性的概念,指出翻译不确定性对传统翻译观的挑战。其次,阐明翻译的客观性与不确定性之间忠实与放纵、不变与万变以及整体与局部的关系。最后,论证翻译是不确定性在客观性基础上趋于确定的动态过程。更多还原

【Abstract】 Objectivity and indeterminacy of translation are analyzed based on Quine’s indeterminacy of translation. Traditional and deconstructional translation concepts are criticized for excessively focusing on either objectivity or indeterminacy. A new idea of translation is put forward containing both the characteristics of objectivity and indeterminacy in translation. Firstly,the concepts of objectivity and indeterminacy of translation are formulated. Then the relationship between objectivity and indeterminacy of translation is illustrated: fidelity vs. abuse,invariance vs. variance,holism vs. locality. Finally,it is argued that translation is a dynamic process of determination-oriented indeterminacy of translation based on objectivity.更多还原
