【Abstract】 This paper traces the origins and ideas of Reichenbach’s RES theory,points out its belonging to the old theory of the B-series based on analytic philosophy,and demonstrates the RES’intended target and its tremendous influences on the subsequent studies of relationships between time and language. The paper also emphasizes the importance of the ontology of time in such researches in order to construe the relationships between time and language,as well as the revelations brought out by the RES’theory.更多还原
