【Abstract】 The academic circle has already noted the difference of the third-person pronouns’ usages between Chinese and English.And some theoretical interpretations have been given.As a matter of fact,the difference of the third-person pronouns’ usages is the one in cohesive devices of discourse anaphors.The reason why there exists difference of such devices lies in the languages’ self-compensating mechanism.Accordingly,the difference of the third-person pronouns between Chinese and English is just the consequence of restriction and adjustment of the languages’ self-compensating mechanism.更多还原
