【Abstract】 Political texts translation is an integral part of the the translation for international publicity of our country. It aims to faithfully transfer the connotation and spirit of the political culture by using the principle of semantic translation as proposed by Peter Newmark,a well-known British translation theorist. To this end,the translator must translate,as closely as the semantic and syntactic structures of the second language allow,the exact contextual meaning of the original. The author mainly explains and analyzes the ways of semantic translation to transfer the political culture embodied in the original texts with convincing examples.更多还原
