【Abstract】 The ethnicity of the Daijiawan and Shigushan cemeteries has been an issue under heated debate in recent scholarship. This paper offers a new insight through the synthetic analysis of remains, related texts, and names of places mentioned in related textual records and inscriptions. This paper suggests that the occupants of the Daijiawan cemetery might have followed the Eastward Campaign led by the Duke of Zhou to defeat rebellion states in Dongyi(Eastern yi barbarians), and therefore was bestowed the fief that used to belonging to the general of the Ze( 夨) state. Based on this new discovery, the authors propose that the Shigushan cemetery might originally have been the family cemetery of Grand Duke Jiang belonging to the Rong ethnic group with Jiang surnam.更多还原
