【Abstract】 On account of the research limitation on the traditional fort-type settlements, the more concern on settlement individuals or some single types and the insufficiency of the systematical integration study, the thesis sets up a perspective of settlement formation to classify and arrange the different kinds of fort-type settlements, and takes a typical case study in ShanxiShaanxi area which located in the middle reaches area of the Yellow River. Focusing on the fortification morphology and attribute of the fort-type settlements there, it cleans up the two basic parts, the military defense system and the civil defense system. And then, based on the current situation of the historical remains, it discusses the features and the spatial distribution of the distinctive subsystem clusters holistically.更多还原
