【Abstract】 Medusa banshee is one of the most popular figures in Greek mythology. The paper applies related theories of female reification,finding Greek writers like Ovidiu reificated Medusa to weaken and belittle the image of female Greek writer of Medusa of physicochemical description,weakening and belittling the female image to shape an ugly medusa for setting off hero’s glory.
