Graphene / silica composites( GS) were prepared from graphene oxide and tetraethyl orthosolicate by a sol-gel method. Nanoscale zero valent iron( NZVI) was loaded onto GS via a liquid phase reduction process to obtain the NZVI / GS nanocomposites. NZVI / GS was used to remove As( Ⅲ) from aqueous media.
