Monitoring of the heavy metals in seawater is the focus of ocean monitoring. To avoid the interference and matrix effect induced by high salt concentrations, collision cell inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry( ORS-ICP-MS) with a standard addition method is highly recommended for determination of heavy metals. This method can efficiently eliminate the matrix effect and interference, and its limits of detection for Cr,Ni,Cu,Zn,Cd and Pb range from 0. 04 to 0. 13 μg / L. Recoveries of the added standard...
