【Abstract】 The electronic dictionaries have become very popular from the end of 1990 s. The smart phones have been widely used since 2011. As a result,the online English dictionaries have won more and more favor of English learners for its advantages such as convenience and efficiency. In this paper: the basic and most important information of an "item"in a printed english learners’ dictionary should have is listed; secondly,the information of an "item"in the online English dictionary should have is concluded; then,the advantages and disadvantages of the online English dictionary are analyzed; lastly,some strategies are listed on how the English Online Dictionary should do to improve itself to serve English learners and to exploit its usages to the full.更多还原
