横向压力作用下光子晶体光纤的偏振特性的研究

【摘要】 从理论上分析了横向压力作用在光子晶体光纤(PCF)上对偏振膜色散(PMD)和差分群时延(DGD)的影响,对不同横向压力作用下PMD与DGD分别进行数值模拟.模拟结果表明横向压力变化时DGD与PMD的数值均发生较大的变化.分别对光子晶体光纤的偏振膜色散与差分群时延随着压力变化的特性进行实验验证.实验证明,随着压力的增大,光子晶体光纤的DGD整体趋势增大:光子晶体光纤的偏振膜色散的数值随着压力的增大而成上升趋势,其变化规律符合理论分析结果.

【Abstract】 From the theoretical analysis of the effect of lateral pressure in the photonic crystal fiber( PCF) on the effect of polarization mode dispersion( PMD) and differential group delay( DGD),for different lateral pressure under the action of PMD and DGD are numerically simulated. The simulation results show that the numerical values of PMD and DGD in the lateral pressure changes greatly. Respectively polarization mode dispersion of PCF and differential group delay characteristics with changes in pressure experiments,The experimentsl results show that,with the increase of pressure,the overall trend of DGD is increasing,and the value of the PMD of the PCF increases with the pressure increasing,and the vareation law of the PCF is in accordance with the theoretical analysis results
