【Abstract】 Tumor homing peptides(THPs) are a kind of peptide which specifically bind to the tumor cells and tumor vessels. THPs have ability to recognize and bind to primary tumor as well as metastatic tumors through the specific receptors or bio-markers on the surface of the tumor cells or tumor vessels. In consequence, THPs can be used as delivery tools for anti-tumor drugs targeted to tumor tissues and cells directly, which will be able to reduce or eliminate the drug resistance and side effects.
