【Abstract】 This is an investigation study on the status quo of Woni people’s language use at Leda and Chahe villages in Xinping County. The findings concluded that Woni language is in danger,which is indicated as followings:the number of people who can use the language is greatly decreasing,people’s ability of using woni language is reducing,the inheritance is stopped,and the domain of using woni language is getting small. For the language system,the number of Han words is increasing,and the grammar system is affected by Han,but the basic SOV structure is kept. Generally speaking,the decay of woni language is urgent and is in the terminal state.更多还原
