【Abstract】 Various common high barrier materials were described, such as ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer( EVOH),polyvinylidene chloride( PVDC),polyamide( PA),polyethylene terephthalate( PET),polyethylene terephthalate polyethylene naphthalate( PEN),poly vinyl alcohol( PVA). The relationship between their structure and barrier properties was detail analyzed. The research status of high barrier polymer materials was introduced.
