A method of headspace gas chromatography with mass spectrometry was developed for the determination of pyridine in drinking water. The samples were put in headspace bottles with sodium carbonate for maintaining alkaline environment. Then the vapor was injected into gas chromatography after sample solutions equilibrating at 80 ℃ for 30 min. The results showed that, the method had a good sensitivity and detection limit of 0. 2 μg / L for pyridine under the optimized condition. The recoveries of actual samples ...
