The EDTA~(4-) intercalated Mg-Al layered double hydroxide(MgAl-E DTA-LDH) was prepared by the method of co-precipitation.The structure and chemical compositions of Mg Al-EDTA-LDH were characterized by XRD and IR. The removal of copper ion in aqueous solution by MgAl-EDTA-LDH was researched.
