【Abstract】 During the Spring and Autumn period,the senior officials had strong sense of anxiety and uncertainty about their prospect,so playing safe is a key principle in their public speech or a private talk,which attributes to the destroyed patriarchal system and the political turbulence at that time. With the principle in mind,the senior officials regard rituals as an effective way to preserve themselves,which helps improve the status of rituals and paves the way for development of Confucianism.更多还原
