一种评价双组分膨胀型防火涂层综合性能的方法

【摘要】 首次提出了一个表征双组分膨胀型防火涂层综合性能的指标D,并用其确定了试验条件下的最优涂料配方。用环氧树脂、脂肪族胺类固化剂、聚磷酸铵、季戊四醇、三聚氰胺等为主要原料制备了双组分膨胀型防火涂料,然后与三氧化二锑(Sb2O3)、三氧化钼(Mo O3)和氢氧化铝[Al(OH)3]这3种阻燃剂按不同质量比例复配。采用锥形量热仪考察了所得涂层的防火性能,得到总释放热(THR)及总生烟量(TSR)。用热机械分析仪在燃烧后的膨胀炭层表面施加一个匀速递增的压力,测量其高度变化并计算其高度变化率L。用Origin软件对高度变化曲线进行线性拟合,获得拟合曲线的斜率与相关系数R2。综合性能参数D的计算式为:D2=THR2+(TSR/10)2+L2+[(1–R2)×100]2。根据D选择了最佳阻燃剂配比为:Sb2O3 1.5%(质量分数,后同),Mo O3 1.5%,Al(OH)32.0%。

【Abstract】 An index marked as D was proposed for evaluating the comprehensive performance of two-component intumescent fire-retardant coating and applied to determine the optimal coating formulation under the present test conditions. A two-component intumescent fire-retardant coating was prepared from epoxy resin, aliphatic amine curing agent, ammonium polyphosphate, pentaerythritol and melamine, and then mixed with three kinds fire retardant fillers i.e. antimony trioxide, molybdenum trioxide and aluminum hydroxide at different mass ratios. The flame retardance of the coatings obtained therefrom was studied by cone calorimeter, and the parameters of total heat release(THR) and total smoke release(TSR) were obtained. The height of intumescent carbon layer formed after burning was measured under a constantly increased force applied by a thermomechanical analyzer to its surface and the height variation rate L was calculated. The height variation curve was linearly fitted using Origin software, and the slope and correlation coefficient R2 were obtained therefrom. The index D was calculated as follow: D2 = THR2 +(TSR/10)2 + L2 + [(1 – R2) × 100]2. The optimal contents of fire retardant fillers selected according to the D value are: Sb2O3 1.5wt%, Mo O3 1.5wt% and Al(OH)3 2.0wt%.
