基于保偏光纤快轴方向纤芯错位熔接的液位传感器研究
Research on liquid level sensor based on optical core-offset fusion splicing method along fast-axis of PMF
【摘要】 提出了一种基于保偏光纤(PMF)快轴方向纤芯错位熔接的内嵌式Mach-Zender干涉(MZI)型液位传感器,对PMF的纤芯错位方向和PMF的长度分别进行了研究讨论,干涉光谱的光程差受到浸入液体中的保偏光纤长度与处在空气中的PMF长度两者比例变化的影响。液位实验结果得出:传感器对应的波长漂移和强度衰减灵敏度分别为-495.6 pm/mm,0.22 d B/mm。
【Abstract】 A embedded Mach-Zehnder interference( MZI) type liquid level sensor based on polarization maintaining fiber( PMF) core-offset fusion splicing along fast-axis is proposed,core-offset orientation and length of PMF are researched and discussed respectively,optical path difference of MZI is influenced by length of PMF immerged in liquid and length of PMF in air. Wavelength shifts and intensity attenuation sensitivity are-495. 6 pm / mm and0. 22 d B / mm,respectively,corresponding to sensor obtained by liquid level experimental result.
