【Abstract】 The ‘liver storing ethereal soul’ and ‘lung storing corporeal soul’ is one of the important contents of TCM visceral manifestation theory. This article compared the TCM connotation of ‘ethereal soul’ and ‘corporeal soul’ from the perspective of literature, tries to explain why ‘the liver storing ethereal soul’ while ‘the lung storing corporeal soul’ by dating back to medical monographs and cultural philosophy ideology such as The Inner Canon of Huangdi, Zhou-yi and yin-yang, and briefly introduces the meaning of the theory on clinical treatment combined with ancient typical medical cases.更多还原
