【Abstract】 To analyze and expound the general formulation about ‘characteristic’ ‘feature’ and ‘advantage’ through summarizing scientific definitions of ‘characteristic’ ‘feature’ and ‘advantage’ which are put forwarded by professor ZHANG Daning. Professor ZHANG considers that the unique medical system with ‘syndrome’ as the core established by TCM doctors of past ages based on their clinical experience is proceeded from ‘syndrome’ which is a concept different from ‘disease’ of modern medicine. The medical system with ‘syndrome’ as the core is the feature and advantage of Chinese medicine. Throughout the subject system of traditional Chinese medicine, professor ZHANG thinks that the medicine system with ‘syndrome’ as the core is the most fundamental characteristic, feature and advantage of TCM.更多还原
