Burnum genus( Viburnum Linn) is widely distributed in southwestern China region and have rich production, long history of ornamental applications and important medicines. But many existing species has not been well developed and still in a wild state. In China,the study of Viburnum still at a preliminary stage.This paper summarized the existing findings of Viburnum plant and the future development direction,so as to provide a reference to the depth of the development and utilization of Viburnum plant.
