【Abstract】 The interface between Ying and Wei was viewed as a central homeostatic mechanism and an axiom to understand and explain how the human body operated by ancient physicians. The possible reasons may as follows: metabolic and immune systems are among the most fundamental requirements for survival. Homeostasis of Ying and Wei is not only the basic principle in the evolution of life,but also the basic principle in the development of organs and tissues.
