【Abstract】 As the result,the sustainable urban became the inevitable choice of Chinese urban development.Starting from the concept formation of sustainable urban,this paper systematically summarized the research progress and existing problems related to eco-city,compact city,low-carbon city and urban sustainability assessment according to the sustainable urban development in China.It also discussed the future trends in Chinese sustainable urban studies that broadening and deepening the research methodology,carrying out empirical research for different cities,highly concerning about the medium and small cities,strengthening the follow-up investigation of sustainable cities planning and construction would be the necessary foundation for further deepening theoretical research and continuously making practical effectiveness.更多还原
