【Abstract】 Markov chain theory has made great contribution in promoting the development of probability theory. The theory is named after Andrei Andreyev Markov who was an excellent representative of the mathematicians from the St. Peterburg School. He inherited and developed the probability thought from Chebyshev. He provided the first rigorous proof on the central limit theorem, extended the theorem of large numbers and also laid a foundation on the theory of stochastic processes and so on. His researches impelled the spread and the development of probability theory in Russia.His thought on probability is judged as a precious treasure in the history of probability theory.更多还原
