【Abstract】 Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors( GEP-NETs) are a heterogeneous group of neoplasms arising from the diffuse neuroendocrine system. Somatostatin analogs,initially developed for control of hormonal syndromes,have recently been used to inhibit tumor growth. The advent of new therapies such as newer drugs,targeting angiogenesis and mammalian target of rapamycin( m TOR) pathway for PNETs and carcinoid tumors have introduced a paradigm shift in the management of this heterogeneous malignancy.更多还原
