【Abstract】 Design is life. Experiencing life and internalizing the life experience as a keen design intuition is an integral part of professional training in the landscape architecture field. This paper records and analyzes the teaching reform of "Introductory Landscape Architecture Studio" course at Huazhong University of Science and Technology led by Associate Professor Iain Robertson from Landscape Architecture Department, University of Washington. The teaching reform is summed up as the "experiential-participatory teaching mode". Supportive learning psychological theories, as well as knowledge internalization and creativity cultivation are analyzed. This paper argues that the "experiential-participatory teaching mode" is effective for introductory landscape architecture studio.更多还原
