高功率高重频微秒脉冲钠信标激光研究
Investigation of a High Power and High Repetition Rate Microsecond Pulse Sodium Beacon Laser
【摘要】 介绍了高重频微秒脉冲钠信标激光器实验样机的技术路线和实验研究结果,在重复频率500 Hz、脉冲宽度100μs时,获得了钠信标激光平均输出功率为33 W,光束质量M2=1.5,线宽为0.4GHz。以云南丽江1.8m口径望远镜为发射系统,研究了应用该激光器获得高亮度钠导引星的最佳激光参数,获得了钠导引星光子回波达1.66×107 m-2·s-1。利用自适应光学技术在J波段实现了1.7倍衍射极限的图像分辨率。
【Abstract】 A high repetition rate microsecond pulse sodium beacon laser prototype was developed.At the repetition rate of 500 Hz and pulse width of 100μs,the average output power of 33 W was achieved with the beam quality of M2= 1.5and the linewidth of 0.4GHz.By using the sodium beacon laser prototype,a bright sodium laser guide star was generated and observed by a 1.8mtelescope in Yunnan province,and a high resolution image of a star was obtained with the adaptive optics.
