【Abstract】 Treatment based on syndrome differentiation has played an active role in the TCM throughout the history.However,under the background of modern scientific culture,treatment based on syndrome differentiation is disconnected with the need of acupuncture clinical practice.Instead,it should be changed to treatment based on disease differentiation.The complexity of the disease,the high risk of medical practice,the development requirements of modern acupuncture,the objection situation of modern acupuncture and international communication have the close relations with proper application of treatment based on disease differentiation.Correct treatment based on disease differentiation is the foundation of modern acupuncture clinical practice and the inherent requirement of the acupuncture academic development.更多还原
