【Abstract】 Thyroid hormones are necessary for the growth and development of the kidney,and maintenance of water and electrolyte homeostasis. Hyperthyroidism may increase renal plasma flow,glomerular filtration rate,renal tubular reabsorption,urine protein and lower serum creatinine. The effects of hypothyroidism on the kidney are usually opposite to the effects of hyperthyroidism. Evaluation of glomerular filtration rate is an important indicator of renal function. Thyroid hormone influences glomerular filtration rate and thus affects kidney function. Here is to make a review of the research status of association between thyroid hormone levels and glomerular filtration rate.更多还原
