Influence of pain management on the postoperative pain and rehabilitation of patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty
【Abstract】 Objective To explore the efficacy of specific pain management on the rehabilitation of patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty( TKA). Methods A total of 80 patients undergoing TKA was randomly divided into control group treated with routine nursing and intervention group added with specific pain management on basis of routine nursing,40 cases in each group. Rehabilitative efficacy after TKA between two groups was compared. Results Intervention group was obviously lower in the pain scores 24,48 and 72 h after operation and when discharged( P < 0. 01),longer in sleep time( P < 0. 01) and shorter in the initial ambulation time, time for knee flexion≥90° and hospital stays( P < 0. 01) than control group. Conclusion The specific pain management can effectively reduce the postoperative pain and improve the rehabilitation of knee function of patients undergoing TKA.
