【Abstract】 Although there is the rich texts about Dewey, but it is very hard for us to find the reasonable entrance into Dewey’s philosophy. The classical texts on the ideas of experience in The Need for a Recovery of Philosophy is one of the important texts about the ideas of experience, but unfortunately, it has been neglected by the researchers for a long time.With regard to the starting point of thought, the classical texts about the ideas of experience in The Need for a Recovery of Philosophy is one of the key points in the whole web of Dewey’s thought. With regard to the line of the development of thought, the classical texts about the ideas of experience in The Need for a Recovery of Philosophy has played a very important role in the evolution of Dewey’s thought, which has exhibited a great value in contemporary academic research on the ideas of experience.更多还原
