【摘要】 本研究调查中国英语二语习得者中断英语学习不同时间段之后的词汇磨蚀情况。研究采用产出性词汇和接受性词汇测试,对实验组296名中断英语学习1至15年及以上的在职人员和对照组104名大学二年级本科学生进行了考察。研究结果表明:(1)在中断学习的早期阶段,产出性词汇磨蚀达到80%以上,磨蚀程度远大于接受性词汇;(2)中断学习时间和词汇磨蚀程度之间呈现一致线性关系,中断时间是影响词汇磨蚀程度的关键因素;(3)词汇磨蚀呈现"快—缓—快"的变化趋势。更多还原

【Abstract】 This study attempts to investigate the vocabulary attrition of Chinese English learners after discontinuing English learning for 1 year to more than 15 years. Productive and receptive vocabulary tests are administered to the experimental group of 296 jobholders and the control group of 104 college sophomores. The results show that:( 1)productive vocabulary undergoes severer attrition than receptive vocabulary,suffering more than 80% loss at the initial stage of non-learning;(2) a linear relationship is found between the extent of vocabulary attrition and the duration of non-learning,indicating that the temporal factor is a key contributor to the vocabulary attrition;(3) the vocabulary attrition displays a "rapid — moderate — rapid"pattern.更多还原
