【Abstract】 The teacher evaluation model developed by Mc REL enjoys a high reputa-tion in the United States,whose essence is to support and strengthen teachers’ teachingpractice and professional development. To achieve the ultimate goal of improvement of stu-dents’ academic performance,improvement of teaching quality,professional growth and de-velopment of teachers,management of teachers and development of schools,Mc REL empha-sizes the importance of continuous and effective evaluation in better improving the defectsin teaching practices,reducing the uncertainty of teaching and discovering the route of pro-fessional improvement. The main structure of the model includes CUES framework,CUESrubrics and the annual cycle of evaluation process.
