针刺炭/炭复合材料层合板低速冲击损伤仿真
Simulation of low velocity impact damage of needling carbon-carbon composite laminates
【摘要】 为分析针刺作用对炭/炭复合材料力学性能的影响,通过对针刺炭/炭复合材料层合板进行整体结构分析,建立相应的宏观有限元模型。针对炭布层和网胎层分别引入适当的损伤判据,通过有限元软件ABAQUS/Explicit实现了针刺炭/炭复合材料层合板的低速冲击过程的模拟。结果表明,炭布的损伤主要沿着纤维方向进行扩展,与实验研究结果较为吻合;层合板在多种动能冲击下没有发生分层,表明针刺作用增强了复合材料的层间性能。
【Abstract】 To study the effect of needling on the mechanical properties of carbon/carbon composites, an appropriate macro finite element model is established after an overall structural analysis on needling carbon/carbon composite laminates. Corresponding damage criterions are introduced to the carbon cloth layer and felt layer. The commercial software ABAQUS/Explicit provides support to model low velocity impact damage in carbon/carbon composite laminates. It is shown that the carbon cloth damage mainly extended along the direction of the fibers which is consistent with the experimental results. No delamination occurs in laminates under varieties of impact, which indicates that needling enhances the interlaminar properties.
