热激对人精液参数、附睾及附属性腺功能的影响
Effects of Scrotal Heat Stress on Sperm Parameters,and Functions of the Epididymis and Accessory Sex Glands
【摘要】 目的研究热激对人精液参数、附睾及附属性腺功能的影响。方法采用自身前后对照的方法,对10名受试者于温浴开始前分别取2次精液(2次间隔在2~4周),用其参数平均值作为对照。后连续温浴10d,从温浴第1天开始计,每间隔2周取1次精液,即分别于第2、4、6、8、10、12、14、16周共取精8次,测定精液常规(精子浓度、活力、存活率),生化法测定精浆中中性α-葡萄糖苷酶的活性、果糖及锌的含量。结果精液常规分析:精子浓度、活力、存活率都从第2周开始下降,且精子浓度于第4、6、8、10周显著低于温浴前(均P<0.05),第8周时浓度最低,随后逐渐恢复,至第14周时恢复至正常水平;精子活力于第4、6周显著低于温浴前(均P<0.05);精子存活率于第4、6、8周显著低于温浴前(均P<0.05),精子活力、存活率都于第6周时最低,随后逐渐恢复,至第10周恢复至正常水平。各检测时间段精浆中性α-葡萄糖苷酶的活性、果糖及锌的含量与温浴前差异无统计学意义(均P>0.05),但都呈现出上升的趋势。结论热激可逆性影响精液质量,对人附睾及附属性腺功能可能没有显著影响,但是精浆中性α-葡萄糖苷酶活性、果糖及锌的含量在温浴之后的恢复期大体都呈现出上升趋势,后续需要进一步研究证实。
【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the effects of scrotal heat stress on human sperm parameters,functions of the epididymis and accessory sex glands.Methods The self control method was employed.Ten subjects were subjected to warm bathing at43℃,30 min per day,for 10 consecutive days.Semen samples were collected before(two times at an interval of 2-4weeks,the averaged values served as baseline level)and after warm bathing(eight times at an interval of 2weeks).Sperm parameters,including sperm concentration,progressive sperm motility,sperm viability,neutralα-glucosidase activity,fructose and zinc contents in seminal plasma were detected at each time point.Results The sperm concentration,progressive sperm motility and sperm viability began to decrease 2weeks after warm bathing.The sperm concentration was significantly decreased at 4,6,8and 10 weeks when compared with baseline level(P<0.05)and it gradually recovered to the baseline line level at 14 weeks.The minimum level appeared at 8weeks.The progressive sperm motility was decreased significantly at 4and 6weeks(P<0.05)and the trough appeared at 6weeks.The sperm viability was also maximally reduced at 6weeks,with the values at 4-8weeks significantly different from baseline level(P<0.05).The two parameters gradually recovered at 10 weeks after warm bathing.The neutralα-glucosidase activity,fructose and zinc contents in seminal plasma were not significantly different from the baseline level at each time point.However,they tended to increase with extended time after warm bathing.Conclusion Scrotal heat stress can reversibly affect the male spermatogenesis.It does not significantly affect the functions of the epididymis and accessory sex glands.The neutralα-glucosidase activity,fructose and zinc contents tend to increase at the recovery phase,which warrants further investigation.
