【摘要】 来华传教的法国耶稣会会士明兴礼神甫于20世纪40年代末撰写了一部评著《巴金的生活和著作》,翻译了巴金的两部小说《雾》和《莫娜·丽莎》,编译了巴金小说《家》第26章,并在巴黎索邦大学写了一篇以中国现代作家群为主题的博士论文。他三次拜访巴金,和巴金保持了六年之久的书信往来。他十年里评论巴金和翻译巴金作品约30万字,这在当时国内外中国现代作家个体研究领域里是首屈一指的,作为传教士对中国现代作家的评析也是名列榜首的,为当时不熟悉中国现代作家的法国文坛作出了筚路蓝缕的贡献。明兴礼是集巴金作品翻译、评论、创作为一体的第一位法国巴金研究学者,是现代中西文化交流中一位当之无愧的先驱。更多还原

【Abstract】 Jean Monsterleet, a Jesuite priest, wrote Ba Jin’s Life and Works, a biography of Ba Jin, publised French translation of Ba Jin’s novels Brumes and Mona Lisa, and translated Chapter 26 of Ba Jin’s novel Family in the 1940 s. In 1947, Monsterleet finished his doctoral dissertation on contemporary Chinese writers in Sorbonne University. He met Ba Jin on three occasions, and kept up a correspondence with him for over six years. As the first person to review and translate the works of Ba Jin, Monsterleet compares Ba Jin’s spiritual and cultural perceptions to contemporary French writers to make contribution to the French literary world which has little knowledge of Chinese literature. Monsterleet is a pioneer in the cultural communication between China and the West.更多还原
