【Abstract】 Investigation is an important function of police departments. The science of investigation is asocial science which studies investigative activities and their rules. The science of public security is the firstclass discipline under the science of law, and the science of investigation is the second class discipline underthe former. The discipline construction of the science of investigation is an important part of police highereducation.
