【Abstract】 Pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic(PK/PD) studies combine the methods for PK and PD studies, examine the relationship between pharmacokinetic properties and drug potency and efficacy, and depict the efficacy-time course in a quantitative fashion. PK/PD studies facilitate more effective utilization of the available antifungal agents to improve outcomes of many life-threatening infections.
