【Abstract】 The U.S. is the country with the largest stock number and generating capacity of geothermal power in the world, its development and utilization technology is global leader. U.S. geothermal power installed capacity occupies 29.4% of global total installed capacity and ranks first in the world. The article mainly introduces the status of U.S. geothermal power and the U.S. government’s promoting policy. Abundant geothermal resources, technical progress and policy support by the government will make U.S. geothermal energy development enhanced by a large margin in future decades, U.S. degree of dependence upon foreign energy will continuously decline.更多还原
