【Abstract】 Being an emerging technology for data management, bid data can be used for establishment of information system in the water sector. Comparing to the traditional data treatment technology, big data makes new requirements in the processes of data accumulation, transmission, storage and sharing. Feasibility studies are carried out, regarding the current situation of information technology development and application of big data. Detailed discussions are made on technical problems and solutions as well as issues need to be paid more attention.
