玻璃纤维和相容剂对高密度聚乙烯弯曲性能的影响
Effect of Glass Fiber and Compatilizer on Flexural Properties of High-density Polyethylene
【摘要】 采用双螺杆挤出机制备了不同含量高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)/玻璃纤维(GF)复合材料,并采用马来酸酐接枝高密度聚乙烯作为相容剂对该复合材料进行改性,研究了GF用量和相容剂用量对复合材料弯曲性能的影响。结果表明,随着GF用量的增加,HDPE/GF复合材料的弯曲强度和弯曲模量都有大幅度上升,热变形温度先大幅上升,后基本不变,GF用量为50份时,对复合材料的弯曲性能改性效果最佳。然后以此GF用量为基准,研究了相容剂用量对复合材料弯曲性能的影响。结果显示,随着相容剂用量的增加,HDPE/相容剂/GF复合材料的弯曲强度、弯曲模量都有上升,热变形温度先上升再下降,其中加入5份相容剂时,热变形温度最高。
【Abstract】 Glass fiber( GF) with various filling contents was blended with high-density polyethylene( HDPE) using twin-screw extruder to prepare HDPE /GF composites. And maleic anhydride-grafted HDPE was employed as a compatilizer to modify the composite. The effects of GF and compatilizer contents on the flexural property of the composites were researched. Results showed that with the increasing content of the GF,both the flexural strength and flexural modulus of HDPE / GF composites increased significantly,and the thermal deformation temperature increased significantly at first and then remained unchanged. When the content of GF was at 50 phr,the flexural property of composites was optimum. Subsequently,based on this GF content in the composite, the effect of the content of the compatilizer on the flexural properties of composites was studied. Results demonstrated that with the increasing content of the compatilizer,the flexural strength and flexural modulus of HDPE / compatilizer / glass fiber composites increased, and the thermal deformation temperature increased first and then decreased. When the compatilizer of 5 phr was added,the thermal deformation temperature of the composites was the highest.
