碱式硫酸镁晶须/微胶囊红磷/聚丙烯复合材料阻燃机理及性能研究
Study on the Flame-retardant Mechanism and Flame Retardance Properties of Sulfate Hydrate Whisker/Microencapsulated Red Phosphorus/Polypropylene Composites
【摘要】 采用碱式硫酸镁晶须(MHSH)与微胶囊红磷(MRP)复配制备无卤阻燃聚丙烯(PP)复合材料,对MHSH/MRP复配阻燃机理、无卤阻燃PP的阻燃性能进行系统的研究。结果表明,在空气氛围下,MHSH降解脱水过程与MRP的氧化过程重叠;两者的复配使MHSH脱出的水被氧化磷吸收,从而提高了残重率;MHSH与MRP协同阻燃PP,可形成以MHSH分解产物硫酸镁、氧化镁、磷酸镁盐、偏磷酸、聚磷酸等为复合阻隔层的表层结构,提高了PP的热降解稳定性;当30%MHSH和10%MRP添加到PP中,制得氧指数达26.1%、垂直燃烧(UL94)V-0级的PP复合材料。
【Abstract】 Non-halogen flame retardant PP composites were prepared by using magnesium hydroxide sulfate hydrate whisker( MHSH) and microencapsulated red phosphorus( MRP) as the composite flameretardant agent. The flame-retardant mechanism of MHSH / MRP and the flame retardance properties of PP composites were systematically investigated. The results showed that the dehydration process of MHSH and the oxidation of MRP overlapped under air atmosphere. The water from the degradation of MHSH was absorbed by phosphorus oxide when MHSH and MRP both existed,so the yield of the residue was increased. The cooperation between MHSH and MRP on retardant PP improved the thermal degradation stability of PP,for the synergistic effect between MHSH and MRP effectively promoted the formation of the surface structure in which magnesium sulfate, Mg O, magnesium phosphate salt, metalphosphoric acid and polyphosphoric acid composed the barrier layer. When 30wt% MHSH and 10wt% MRP were added,the limiting oxygen index value of PP composites was 26. 1% and vertical combustion performance could reach UL94 V-0 level.
