【Abstract】 Illustrated by an experiment of non-uniform bed-load transport,the method of obtaining the velocity and longitudinal distribution of the colored tracing particles with the Digital Image Processing Technique( DIPT) is described herein in detail. Besides,merits and defects of this method are discussed from a perspective of practical application. Both domestic and international researches on particle tracing seldom deal with sediment transport on armored bed surfaces. Therefore this study provides a valuable reference work for academics and technicians in the area of sediment research.更多还原
