【Abstract】 This paper summarizes the research development of the relationship between endophytes and host plants,and discusses the implications for research on geoherbalism. In this paper,we introduce the distribution features of endophytes,the relationship between endophytes and host plants,the effect of endophytes on host plants stress resistance and the effect of endophytes on secondary metabolites of host plants. This shows that the relationship between endophytes and host plants are mutualism,harmless or fewer harmful parastic relation,which impact on the quality of genuine medicinal materials.更多还原
